I got up early this morning and went to the flight school and went solo in the Warrior, it gave me a little bit of confidence back as i have not been solo here for 3 years. There was 6 in the circuit, the expression used in waterford would be, "sure boy it was like heathrow", Only its much more relazed here, you call midfield and the controller will instruct you - "Warrior 02N cleared to land number 6 to a seminole" - so youve gotta look for the seminole and count 4 in front and now you know your position.
The school has a policy that only when you are dual you are allowed to touch and gos, so when solo you have to do a full stop and taxi back everytime!
Im flying again tommorow, with a new instructor. Bill does not work the weekends so ill be back with him on monday!
